The Thermogard XP® (TGXP) delivers both intravascular core cooling and non-adhesive surface cooling from one intuitive console, letting critical-care teams reach and maintain target temperature with unmatched accuracy. Closed-loop saline circulation and automatic feedback keep patient temperature within ±0.2 °C while reducing nursing workload and shivering management.

Dual-Modality Flexibility
  • Combined cooling approaches: combines intravascular and surface temperature management on one system, giving clinicians immediate options for any protocol or patient severity.
Precise, Autonomous Control
  • Ultra-precise temperature control: detects a 0.1 °C deviation and instantly adjusts coolant temperature, holding core values within ±0.2 °C for 100 % target-time performance.
Rapid Cooling & Warming
  • High-efficiency heat exchange: high-efficiency heat exchanger and 7 L min⁻¹ pump circulate chilled or warmed saline through the catheter loop to change core temperature quickly without infusing fluid into the patient.
Multifunction Catheters & Pads
  • MR-conditional catheters: 9.3 F catheters double as triple-lumen CVCs for medication delivery, blood draws, and CVP monitoring.
  • STx™ gel-free surface pads: offer simple external therapy when intravascular access is not indicated.
Lower Nursing Burden
  • Automated regulation: automated temperature regulation and real-time software display cut nursing tasks by up to 74 %, freeing staff for other critical duties.
